Cold weather warnings from the AA

They recommend that in icy conditions you should always travel with a shovel, blankets, 24 hours worth of food and drinks, rock salt, de-icer spray, torch and batteries, first aid kit and a set of jump leads. I felt a right plonker on the bus today.
