Hardly deflection when Manning has done such a s**t job.

I saw your other post where you think JHT should probably have been given more support (I absolutely agree) but that likely would also have been sacked by now - got to love the unknowable. The romantic in me think he learns a lot and has us going well.

I think Knapper was generous and there's no benefit to utterly sticking the boot in.

Theoretically the Manning appointment shouldn't have failed like this. The TNC boys accepted they thought he was a great appointment.

Availability was interesting and it's a funny one, Knapper mentioned Forson and I agree him, Chrisene and Mahovo have probably been the biggest victims of the soft tissue wraith, Cordoba maybe too. All looked good in brief parts and you would hope a manager could get better out of the fit versions.

Early Manning was all about pretending there wasn't a formation and it was about using the talents players had in the best way. That all fell apart so quickly didn't it.
