I'm hopeful.

For all the talk of attacking football I'm hoping his experience as a CB/DM will vastly improve our defending as it's been terrible for several years.

It's interesting he noted the club has told him there is money/resources available in Jan to change things.
That's important.

Its interesting that he said he has watched all our games and noted the underperformance of some players that he rates. He also noted the lack of confidence.

Overall my impression is very positive.
I'm really interested to see if a new coach can unlock the potential in this squad.
I still think this squad is better than it's position but I could be wrong. Time will tell.

TBF Seems like a very serious appointment.
