not really necessary...

for all his shortcomings liam is clearly not in the best headspace now and has just lost his job despite him trying his level best for all i can see. no need to kick him while he's down.

who knows how different things would have been under an experienced sporting director who knew what the actual f**k they were doing?

hopefully the winds of fortune change for liam and he learns from the experience and gets back in the game and kicks on. a decent guy trying his best, he just picked the wrong gee gee.
