Just on a human level, that was horrible to hear.

JD posted this before on this board - he needs help. If he was part of my team, I'd remove him from all duties and send him home, link him up with the Employee Assistance Team. He's showing all the classic signs of complete burn out, and my first thought would be "duty of care".
