I don't believe ZW appointed Knapper. That would have been a decision by Delia and Michael

who were still in control of the club at that time. From memory the initial search was done by an external consulting firm before internal interviews by various people including Stuart Webber although I'm not sure how much interest he had by then. I'm sure that MA and Neil would also have interviewed hi, All in all a collective f%&k-up.
