I don’t hate him

I think he’s a decent chap, certainly more likeable as a player than he is as a manager - maybe it’s pressure and the need to constantly deflect criticism now that he’s more in the spotlight, I don’t know. I just don’t think his management record is that good, his style is no different from other recent (failed) managers here and, even when he took Southampton up, he did so with some terrible performances and they happened to be the third best of a very, very poor quality Championship year.
