If it’s true

that fans waiting outside the ground at the end of the match hurled abuse as players wives and children, leaving some of them in tears (reported by the Club Chaplain on Facebook), then I am utterly ashamed. You are worse for the club than Manning or Knapper will ever be. Will any Wrathers join me in condemning it?

We need to have some standards as fans and as human beings. You might be upset we’re having a bad season but get a bloody grip. Nothing, absolutely nothing, justifies this.
