It is, on evidence, very poor - especially for the money we spent.

BUT

Sargent has been poor, McLean has been poor, Fisher has been poor. Some of the newer players who were here last season like Schwartau have been better.

So maybe it isn’t all down to poor recruitment but poor coaching and tactics. So Manning has to go before Knapper.

One thing Knapper is good at is getting a good sell-on price for departing players. Sack Manning, sort out the good players from the bad players, get Knapper to sell on the s**te in January and then give him the boot before the Summer so someone better can manage our recruitment ahead of next season.
