It was always a question of who replaced him

There was all that talk about Webber always having a Plan B; always knowing who he'd want if the manager left. Which turned out to be complete bollocks.

They sacked Farke (right after a win - WTF?), and just went for the first available bloke. Available because he'd been sacked. Utterly ridiculous.

I think Webber was so determined to prove that the players he'd brought in were good enough that he completely lost any sense of judgement at that moment. It's been downhill all the way since.
