Of course he's a great communicator and I'm sure he cares deeply (about his investment) but it all smacks of a hastily concocted PR stunt to quench a full scale revolt.
Nunez sale and the stadium plans are low hanging fruit to critique as they were clearly botched to anyone with any business sense.
Sadly, he's not advised well enough on the actual football side outside of those with an obvious conflict of interest. Otherwise he'd be handing out the P45s, not 'up your performance' platitudes to Coach and key Directors.
The time to stick with the long-term plan was 4 f**king years ago or perhaps even last year, not now with a no hope non entity steering us directly into League one!
The locals may be placated by keeping their seats and having consultation on the drinks and burgers tent behind the Barclay but can they really stomach this dross and a relegation battle?
I'm less hopeful now than before.... 'swing and a miss' would be how I'd characterise it in his language.
Sad, sad times and I hope I'm proved wrong.
