Normally protests are staged for clubs being literally run into the ground through basket case ownership. Wednesday, Blackburn, Morecambe etc. Clubs that people actually feel sorry for.
A couple of seasons outside the play offs and people want to throw tennis balls on the pitch in protest of the owners.
Owners who replaced the previous owners who were hounded out by the fans.
Or is the protest against the sporting director who replaced the previous sporting director who got hounded out by the fans.
Or is the protest against the manager who replaced the last manager who was hounded out who replaced the manager before that who was hounded out (despite making the play offs) who replaced the manager before that who was hounded out (when the club were sitting pretty in third) who replaced the manger before that who was hounded out despite getting promoted twice?
Maybe the only common denominator here are the fans themselves?
