Have often had them knock on the door as

there are two places with same number opposite each other (different street address).

I always say I didn’t order. They sometimes argue with me until I show them the other place.

I usually go to the door to check as they approach and sometimes have to call them and tell them I’m the other side of the street waving at them.

Once I was too slow and watched as the occupants gleefully took my order from them and went back indoors. Bastards. I was starving as well.
