There are reasons to think Knapper is corrupt.

I usually subscribe to the cock-up rather than conspiracy theory, but his signings stretch credulity.
Crnac was bought for 1mm by a club in the circa 15th best league in Europe. We then bought him for 10 times that after he had one good season.
No one else was interested. The opposition were way below champs level. His stats weren't spectacular. There is no way anyone with any sense would pay that.
I'd like a journo to go through Knappers personal finances with a fine tooth comb. Crnac was never, ever more than 3mm player. It's fishy. And the other out of the blue signings of players for millions who aren't even fit....what is going on???
They weren't even what we needed, the squad is totally lopsided. It looks wonky
