One more post while I waste time at work

I listen to a lot of football podcasts, especially ones with ex pros talking about their careers.

a lot of players say it really is down to the right fit at the right club. some players are really decent but for whatever reason they go to a new club and they just don't fit into the dressing room or they don't enjoy living in the new area or they hate living away from their families etc etc. Some transfers just work, the player just feels really at home in his new surroundings and it brings the best out of him.

I assume this is similar for managers. Some fit in and it simply clicks and some just can't do it at certain clubs even though they are good managers. See David Moyes, couldn't do it at Man Utd or West Ham but working wonders at Everton.
