But maybe you're right and at a different club in a different environment at a different time, maybe he'd be ok or even excellent.

But he is failing *here* and with *this* team. So it really doesn't matter how good he was, could be, or will be.

It isn't working *now*, and we need it to be. It's no good him being a better coach with better players - we don't have them.

So give someone else a chance to do something different with the players that we do have. It might not work (as it didn't when me made the same call with Farke), but can we afford not to even try?
