I think the players that aren't as good

wouldn't be so obvious if we did have a few like those mentioned, so the overall effect seemed better.

But we don't have the compensation when something poor is made up for by a moment of flair. When the most excitement is a run by Jack Stacey, or someone managing to make a forward pass, it's difficult not to come to the conclusion that everything has turned to poo.
