Perplexed to keep hearing that Manning "is a good coach'

Even in very critical contexts it keeps getting repeated

Why then does the system seem so unproductive?
Why is there no discernable improvement in individual players?
Why are some players going backwards?
Why are we incapable of a performance for 90 minutes?
Why do we continually concede straight after the break?
Why do opposition managers figure us out and make a tactical change and yet we seem incapable of responding to that - or doing the same to them?
Why does anyone genuinely believe Liam gibbs is better than Jacob Wright?
