I'm completely on that page re understanding football

I watch our games over the past 2-3 years and I just don't get it. So many players who make zero sense to me. "How are they a pro?" enters my head. "What's the point of this player?"

Eg Crnac. He has played his whole Norwich career in limbo, not a winger, not an attacker, never makes a run, just a piece in a really boring chess set.

Oscar has been the same, but has done 1 or two nice things recently so I guess there's that, but what is the point of the role he's given? He creates nothing, passes backwards non stop, nobody makes a run when he gets the ball.

No wonder we never score or look like scoring.
