me, it's me

I usually get to the ground earlier than I really need to, so end up loitering around with time to kill. I'll be on my tod (or with my kid) so have no desire to go to a crowded 'spoons and its ilk. A £2-3/pint premium isn't a deal breaker as I'm used to paying that at sports grounds elsewhere already.

I'll already be spending £8+ on food from one of the food carts that already exist around the stadium. If I have my kid with me I'd definitely be wandering over to the fan zone to see what there is to keep him entertained.

There are enough of Me at clubs up and down the country, across various different sports, to make such 'fan zones' perfectly viable.

Heck, wander around the ground and we already have all the ingredients of one, just more dispersed and not under direct control of the club. All the club is doing is making it a more dedicated space
