I didn't agree with the yellow Heinze got, but I understand it's an interpretation thing. The ref did let an awful lot of things go and both teams hardly ever complained at him, so he never ruined the game
The misunderstanding of the yellow cards that the bbc whipped up was unfair. You can easily see that the referee blew for the freekick, and then yellowed another player for a different incident altogether. Until they know what that yellow was for, then they shouldn't go on about a misunderstanding, then mention graham poll
