He was given a couple of opportunities but didn’t force his way into

serious first team picture.

Not sure I heard any massive expectations of him from the club other than the usual we hear about young players as they can’t really say “nah, if he doesn’t manage the improvements he needs this year then that’s it for him really”.

A couple of fans seemed to think he was the next big thing without him having shown any evidence of it - much the same with Famewo, Warner, Hills, etc.

Wouldn’t be shocked if Aboh didn’t go the same way before long given how long he’s apparently been waiting in the wings while we only have Sarge up front.
