The next set of games (before Nov International Break) are the decisive ones

Like any other fan I'm concerned, but the last thing we want to be is the next Watford. There do seem to be signs of improvement in the past two games, particularly against the Baggies. Yesterday appears worse because of our form and position in the table. They were massively due a win and I have (sadly) got to go along with the opinion on here that they are quite possibly top two. The other point about the **** is that they have kept the Gnome in charge for 5.5 seasons - it took 2.5 to get out of the League 1 and then they went straight through the Championship and back down again. They haven't sacked me and now won't. After yesterday he is a God.

The issue though is our next set of games. If at the next set of International Matches we are bottom 5 (or so) Manning is gone. The bigger problem as we all realise is Knapper and his signings. He should not have been appointed and Webber should not have been forced out. Knapper's plan to pick up players from Europe might work for Arsenal who can find - and pay for - the very best. At our level we really should be sourcing the players from Leagues 1 and 2 with potential. Lower level Europe leagues just are not a sufficient level.

Next set of games are the decisive ones. After that.... Wilshire - if (and it's a big if) he was prepared to come back.
