As my 11-year-old pointed out today…

The lower down the football league you go, the less you get teased about your team being crap. When you’re doing badly in the Premier League and the Championship, you get ridiculed by the glory hunters all the time. Once you get to League One, people start calling you ‘a proper football fan’ because they don’t know many people who actually support a third division side.

Frida is already looking forward to visiting some new grounds with me.
