At the end of last season, my belief was that we’d be going down this season.

I was genuinely predicting bottom three and was quite resigned to that fact.

Then we signed some exciting-looking players and I started to think we might be looking at a great season.

Now it turns out they’re all s**t and we really are going to be in the bottom three, which has put me in more of a bad mood than I was when I originally thought we were going down. To be honest, I’m more cross with the club for giving me that brief moment of excitement and positivity than I would have been if we’d done nothing in the Summer and just went down.
