Plus although he obviously hasn't been great I don't think he's remotely the main problem. The players available to him are. Even at best I don't really think this is more than a 6th-10th place squad. With so many key injuries you get what we have now.
It's a lot of changes to make in one summer. Look at Slot - did great last season when they bought nobody and so he had a squad of players very used to playing together. This summer they spent a load of money on supposedly better players but they aren't used to playing together and they currently look a shadow of last year's team.
