It's ludicrous to complain about the investment being flat. Our model has always been to sell players for significant fees and reinvest very little of that. Just look at transfer history on Transfermarkt.

Whether the money has been reinvested well this season is another matter. We've clearly had a bit of bad luck (or something is structurally wrong) with injuries. Most players seem to look good at first and then get dragged down (Medic the exception to that as he looked trash at first and was getting better until he got dropped).
