I remember the 81-82 season.

City were two down at home to Watford, City,newly relegated were drifting below midtable . The normally mild mannered and genial Ken Brown uncharacteristically blew a gasket at half time. The team came out and smashed the 2nd half to win 4-2. The season turned and promoting ensued. Can't see Manning turning things round.
