Agreed, plus the things to look out for.

In all reality if we thought about sacking Knapper it would make more sense to give Manning the whole season to work with the players.

A lot of the time a new SD will have his own ideas and his own type of coach he wants.
It would be easier to sack both Knapper and Manning at the end of the season if things don't work out.
A new SD could then bring in his own man.

Hopefully Mannings 4 year deal has a performance clause in it so we avoid a big payoff.

Best case scenario is Manning turns this all around and we forget this thread ever happened.

If we get smashed in the next two games it could get really toxic very quickly and Knapper will be forced to act.
That is very risky on his part as the board may look at it as joint failure and fire him as well!

This may be one of the reasons that Manning will be given time to turn things around.
