Talked about a targeted approach and how money was very tight. Said it took a lot to get Huckerby, Ashton and Earnshaw here. Excuse me? Didn't we sell Ashton for a huge profit (even allowing Crewe's sell-on clause) and haven't we ended up with a transfer surplus for the past two seasons? All this on top of another near season ticket sell-out and the parachute payments.

Everytime a read something like this I realise that they must have a very low opinion of their customers.
