And given that the issues with Thorup seemed to be down to - cliche alert - losing the dressing room, the fact that Wilshere seemed to be well liked makes the decision stranger still.

Is it because Wilshere didn’t manage a team that beat us at Carrow Rd while the American owners were in the box. That’s a data driven approach if ever I saw one.
