what else could we have done? He was nowhere near fit and there was no way of knowing if he could regain his form. Very very sad but unfortunatly an inevitable part of the game. I always thought GG seemed very popular both with the fans and with the club. So pleased to hear he is doing ok and hope it goes well for him.

Would you prefer we payed thousands of pounds out on a player who would never play for us?
