that's it really. well yes there's the tribal nature of it, the family ties, the pre-match rituals, the people that sit around you, the chants and the joy/misery of shared experience both good and bad, the breathtaking exhileration of a screamer of a goal or victory against a bitter rival. small boys in the park, jumpers for goalposts. football isn't it, marvelous?
