Beyond a joke really

If true, and it is a big if, what a ridiculous bid. Good player but so obviously not a priority at the moment. For that money we could sort the defence and midfield out. NOt sure where we would have got the money from - does it suggest sales are imminent (Green/Safri/Leon/Earnie)?
