It's absolute madness given she knew the scrutiny she was under

She had a taste of it over the historic sale of her council house when that hit the papers before the election.

People's live are complicated and there are too many loopholes to use but if you're going to do that, best to pay an agent who you can blame. Wonder if she can still afford her new flat given her salary has probably halved now she's "just" an MP.

Not to defend her, seems shes got a bit complacent, but it would be really nice if the Telegraph exposed everyone in Parliament who had similarly played loose.
