Agreed.

As I have said a few times IMHO we spent the money poorly last season and overpaid for players.

This season I think we have done a better job of building much more depth to the squad while spending a bit more wisely.

We have overall done pretty well spending the small money on players in the 0-3M range. It's when we pay big money our success rate drops a lot in terms of value for money.
This goes back over the past few sporting directors and chairman.
