Back in the "more passionate" past you fantasise about..

more players were transferred between City and Ipswich than happens these days.
But back then football fans were more 'adult', without the modern tendency to spend their lives frantically getting angry and outraged at every little thing that doesn't go just the way they want it to, like spoilt little children (this could also apply to the 'what's wrong with modern society' thread from the other day but I'm not going there 🙂) . Grow up people. Football, like life, isn't black and white. There are good things and bad things about this deal. It isn't brilliant and it isn't awful. It is what it is.
