Mate of mine started out selling little bits of soap bar here and there, just to mates, nothing big time. Nicest bloke you could hope to meet, word got around, he got a bit more popular.

After a matter of just a few months he was knocking out a 9-bar every fortnight or so (that's nine ounces, for the uninitiated, at a time when a sixteenth of an ounce sold for ?7.50, you do the maths).

He's in Earlham Road cemetary now. Has been for just over 10 years.
