I watched the referees assistants yesterday gor a bit in the second half as part of my

‘Trying to understand officiating a bit more’ project this season

I must say I was shocked at how far behind play they were for most of the time- even giving offsides when they were nowhere near inline

Is this normal?

Levels of fitness required must be phenomenal nowadays, but those 2 yesterday were way off
