And I was right. And well done to the ref for giving it on the field. Much easier for him to have let it go upstairs. I was using it as a comparison in that it was more debatable than the West Ham one that wasn’t given. Which is right.

I’m not bitter about anything. I’ve never tried to be a pro ref. I’m happy to have played the game at a high level and keep an interest in the evolving rules of the game.

These days the way my legs are I’m happy to get to CR and watch it all. I’d be happy to buy you a pint and talk over the various debates of the game. All the best and OTBC.
