I agree with the comment below that if this squad does not challenge for the top 6 then

It’s down to the management/tactics.

First time I’ve seen the new players “in the flesh” today but I thought at times we looked like team full of really powerful and good players. Topic will be excellent I think and I like Diallo and Kvistgarden. Kenny coming back in will hopefully give us a bit more composure in the middle.

But I still don’t like the bank three, at least not with Corboba as the left Cb. He does not offer the flexibility that Chrisene does with his ability to turn it into a four. I’d rather just switch to the four. If Stacey is out then I don’t see how we can play with a back three anyway as Fisher does not do enough going forward to play wing back.

I remain upbeat as I think we have the squad to produce a very good side but we need go find the formation that gets the best out of these players, not try and fit the players to the coach’s preferred formation
