I assume here that we are entitled to a share of add ons that are triggered because otherwise a club selling a player with a sell-on clause could presumably just sell him for a nominal one pound (to avoid the sell on) and then have an add on of the entire fee when he has played one game.

It's a moot point anyway as any sell on of a sell on is going to be so small as to be irrelevant.
