Just checked back through your posts Peter and found this from August....

Another reminder...

It's early days. We need to play ourselves in. We will be there at the end. Have faith - we have a good manager believe it or not and he'll leave no stone unturned to get things right.

Whenever we have needed a player to move forward (i.e. Hucks, Ashton) he has 'turned the screws' on the board to get his wish - he'll do the same again if need be I'm sure!

Anyway, that reminder:

Opening day last season:

Wigan 1-1 Forest
(Wigan eventually finish 2nd and Forest are relegated)

Coventry 2-0 Sunderland
(Sunderland end up as Champions whilst Cov just avoid relegation)

Opening day 2003/4

Bradford 2-2 Norwich
(Norwich throw away a two goal lead but end up as Champions - Bradford get relegated)

Walsall 4-1 WBA
(Walsall thrash new relegated West Brom but, by the end of the season, Albion bounce back with automatic promotion and, guess what, Walsall go down)
