No idea why so many think we had an outlier of a preseason

The anger at the defeat has led to a theory that we should have got more minutes into our senior players during preseason. But most clubs now drip-feed minutes into players rather than going 'full-90'.

An example; Millwall humped Sutton on July 29th but only three of their outfield starters played the full 90 that night, and two of those didn't play any role against us.

I see no evidence here that Millwall beat us because their physical preparation was more intense than ours.
