Funnily enough though this crossed my mind earlier. I think if it happens it would be later in the window and be a panic buy just for them to get a bum on a seat, and I think it would be a terrible move for Sarge if he is serious about success in his career and not just money.

If it happened I could see him playing for a while until they finally buy a bigger name in January and then he’ll get loaned out or at best sit on the bench for the rest of his contract until sold on, which would probably be back to the championship, MLS or fairly low level European team since despite it being caused by them just using him as an appeasement to fans, he would be seen as failing in the prem yet again.
