you can hire a beach hut for the day if you like (just google it) for a day or afternoon or evening even which is lovely if you have some relatives tagging along. plus you normally get a key to the central amenity block that has loos and a couple of basins for filling kettles/washing up etc. the beach is never really crowded and is huge. there's a busy cafe halfway along the on the prom and some food/amusement outlets down near the end towards yarmouth and there's also this little gem User Posted Link
