But this summer and 20/21 aren’t comparable for me.

That summer we sold Buendia, the player our entire system relied upon, without whom we wouldn’t have been promoted. So we were going into the EPL having to play a completely different system, one which would render Pukki largely ineffective, and hoping to do that by signing bargain basement replacements (by pl standards).

We might get closer to a 20/21 comparison if we sell sarge though. We wouldn’t be able to replace him with a player as good as he is. I don’t think that’s so obviously the case for Sainz.
