Maybe we are holding on to those for now in case we need them to

replace unexpected, or uncertain exits. Like Sarge for example. If he is still with us at the end of the window then another striker is possibly a waste, but if he goes we would definitely need one even if for depth.

Same with Nunez although with our midfield signings so far I think he is less critical in our midfield than he was last year. In fact I’d only think we’d need to replace him because Kenny is injured.
