Couldn’t really understand why some fans wanted

Russell Martin as our manager, other than the obvious, as a past player. But similarly I can’t really understand why anyone would give him a job. Football management must be a very complex job but surely there are a few simple rules along the lines of not publicly lambasting the players after the first game of the season? He questions their ego but I think he needs to look at his own.
