also re the usa, they aren't just sitting on their hands on monday the 21st july, a us navy poseidon aircraft, primarily a sub-hunter and surface target spotter, flew within 100 km of russia’s black sea coast. over the next three days, ukrainian drones struck nearly a dozen targets in or near rostov and krasnodar.

by wednesday, an RAF RC-135W Rivet Joint and a French airbus A330–244MTT reconnaissance plane came within 70 km of novorossiysk, near key russian naval assets. their flight, though over international waters, was backed by french rafale fighters, a czech tanker, and likely more support aircraft over romania.

same night, ukr drones hit adler rail station near the georgian border. The following night, more drones, including jet-powered ones, struck novinnomyssk in the stavropol region, with local authorities confirming 20 hits (!) on the evrokhim etanol sprit factory, which produces military explosives.

while russia is hellbent on large rage drone/missile attacks on ukrainian civilians, ukraine is methodically degrading russian railways and arms factories.

it looks like a big ukr counter-offensive is in the offing by the end of september.
